Display problem / Scratch on screen

Hello all,

My recent Xperia Pro appears to have a scratch in it's display glass, deep enough to be able to 'break'  the light. I now need to replace the glass of my touchscreen. I am insured, but I can't lose my phone for 3 weeks just for a simple display glass replacement that can be done in a few hours. The trouble for me is, where do I buy a display glass for an Xperia Pro? Just the display, not the whole package (inc. touchscreen or such) 'cause my touchscreen itself still works fine it's just the display glass that contains a scratch.

Any help will be appreciated Winking_Face

Kind regards

In the scratch there are 'broken' pixels visible, who are showing all colours of the rainbow since the light gets broken 'cause of the scratch.

whenever you get a chance take a picture so we can all see the issue I still think is the Digitizer

So, if it is the digitizer, then what would that mean for my wallet? I'm not willing to spend more as 60 euro's to this shitty high-sensitive screen (even with screenprotector, yes). It is realy dissapointing how Sony is adding incredibly sensitive screens to the Xperia Pro, this is the second time I need to replace the screen in less then half a year!

I agree sony should use Gorilla Glass or Gorilla Glass 2 or Dragon trail instead of limeglass.

about $50 USD

Hm, well 50$ is around 37,50 or so for us here, it's better as 3 weeks waiting. But what if the LCD itself is scratched too? Then how would the pixels look like? Also, if I replace my scratched stuff with the link you've sent me, will I then be done with my trouble?

Btw, thank you for your quick responses, and I'm sorry if I may sound a bit frustrated.

I don't know if that's the issue, since I haven't seen your phone, I just go by what you'd described, if it's only the digitizer then it should be enough, if its the screen well you know how much it cost. post pictures whenever you get a chance
