How can select, cut,copy and paste text in Xperia TX??

Tap and hold on the text , you'll get the options just below the notification bar

Note: if press and hold doesn't work, try double tapping it

I have same problem, I did try press and hold also try double tapping, but it doesnt work, it only have paste,what I did copy the text before aftar I paste and want to copy another new text, it only show paste again can not do copy anymore!! I did try so many times and didferent way but can't work!! pls help!!
