crack on top of phone....took to repair centre but get POOR customer service

i have the same problem on my arc S.

i got the crack on the top of phone same place as other users.

my phone has just been purchased in nov 2011 and only has been used for 1 month.

never been crashed or dropped but just got a crack and now SE is saying they are not covering this under my 1 year warranty and charge me for replacing it.

they states that even its true that this is a factory defect, they are still not gonna do anything FREE for me....

i feel extremely disappointed with SE this time....

please help help me!

p.s. my location is in hong kong.

It's well known company fault from SE. Don't try anymore to claim about warranties and fight with shop keeper or customer care centre...

just keep it or buy a new cover. thats the only sollution.

Just to clarify was it the repair agent of the actual Sony Ericsson customer support team that stated it would not be covered?

both the customer service hotline and the SE staffs at the repair centre states the same thing.

they continue to tell me the same answer over and over again that "outlook damage" is not being covered by warranty.
