Contacts Dont Show

I installed the contacts and infinite view apps from xperia s to my arc s, and it worked fine. Then, i had a meeting and i switched on my phone, and when i restarted it, it was no longer there. I went to contacts, clear the data and uninstalled the updates for both contacts and infinite view. I went home, and used my backup vcf file, and imported all the contacts....but it doesn't show, but when i make a phonecall, the name of the person shows up. Any way to fix this with sus being the last resort ?

go to your phonebook > menu > filter > select the phonelist that you want to be displayed
