Compatibility with skullcandy headphones

Plzzzzz help! My xperia mini st15i doesnt recognise my skullcandy headphones!

Do you know if these headphones use the CTIA or OMTP standard?

Your phone only supports OMTP and if the headsets use CTIA it will not work.

Ask the manufacturer if you're not sure.

OK. There's a converter available for this. Not sure where to get in on all the different markets though. Call the regional Sony Mobile support office and see if they can help with this.

the service centres said that the shipment of this adapter has stopped. What do i do now?

If they cannot provide one of these you need to look elsewhere for similar adaptors.

Try a search for "OMTP to CTIA converter" and see what you can find.
