cant turn of the sound (noise)

after uppgrade to ics I cant turn of background sound. there is a option in settings but if I boock of or on the tag, it still sounds like birds in the background, and the phone wibrate all the time as i touch it. I can take the volume down, (music) and tha background sound dissapear, but when listen to music I dont want birds siging allong. Any other have the same problem?

does this happen with the loud speaker or headphones?

it is on all the time. the only way to turn it of, is to take the volume for musicplayer down, but as soon i want to play music, well it is there in the background. it is birds or waterdrops, piping and plopping....... anoying to say it mildly

did you tried quick settings and then lowered the system volume?

that dont help. media volume is the one to lower

it seems that the only option left is to send it to sony service center

i got the same problem as yours but i definitely solve that problem.. try this Settings>Backup & reset>Setting reset (without erasing user data) after that it will restart automatically and then it is fixed no annoying sound and the vibrates..

Thanks for this. I tryed it, and wooooohoooo it worked!!!! thanks alot for this. now I dont have to be pissed of to listen to waterdrops or birds or whatever this anoying sounds are
