cant get contacts in to my hotmail on the phone e-mail app

I cant send a "new e-mail" from my phone (Arc) without knowing the e-mail address of the recipient in my head or have it written somewhere where i can see it. I can only reply to e-mails sent to me. The only contacts that come up when I use "+add" button is the 2 that I use with my Skype account. Ive tried following the instructions given on the the web site and in the user manual. No luck. Ive written to SE support and was given instructions (slightly complicated and misleading) no luck. I e-mailed them again and they said it couldnt be done!! So they were either b.s.ing me the first time or the second time.

Ok that did it! Got them all in Hotmail and Gmail. I did that before but it didnt work- must have done something wrong I suppose. Thanks again, cheers:smileylaugh:

After activating the Auto-Sync in Accounts & Sync...

Now I'm able to see my yahoo email contacts on the default email app of my ICS Sony Xperia S.
