Hi,
I have been using PC companion to sync my ms outlook to google and then to my arc. One permanent problem which exist is all the re-occurence events no able to sync from google to arc. It went well from ms outlook to google. When I tried to create a new re-occurence event, it works well.
Please advice if you know of any step which I have been missed out?
Thanks.

Hi Marcus,
I have tried the following replications:
1. Creation of recurring events on MS Outlook
2. Creation of recurring events on Google Calendar
3. Creation of recurring events on phone
At the time of creation, the events appear correctly on the "host", but obviously don't appear at all on the other calendars.
After synch, the MS Outlook is invariably distinctly at variance with the Google Calendar, which may or may not correspond with the phone calendar. The fact that we are in BST has not helped, but I have put some corrections in to overcome that problem generally as this did originally affect ALL events. Now, thankfully, my events, other than the recurring ones are all in alignment. I have temporarily stopped using recurring events until you can fix or give advice.

Thanks for the information!
@bth_xperiaarc,
Can I please get your details as well so I can add these to the escalation?

Thank you (both of you) for the information.
I have now escalated this. Now we (that is me) play the waiting game and see what comes back.
If any further info is required I will get back to you.
Thanks again!
I just got a response on this and unfortunately there's no solution available from our end.
The team that looked into this ruled it out as a compatibility issue for Microsoft and Google to have a look at.
This is the exact explanation I got on this: "As for the imported calendar events - we will not be able to ensure that is it working properly. (collaborated effort must be done between Microsoft outlook and Google)".
Markus,
Thanks for getting the response to this escalation.
I am sure you will be unsurprised if I tell you I am very dissatisfied.
Here we have THREE world-wide multi-billion $ trading companies, each having priorietory systems that, when connected together, are incongruous and incompatible under certain circumstance.
Now if we consider responsibility and liability, in so far as who should take the lead on fixing the problem, my conclusion is that it is Sony Ericsson. I am not saying it is SE's software (SE PC Companion) which is neccessarily at fault, but I am not saying either that it is free of fault. Nor am I saying MS Outlook or Google's Calendar are technically culpable, or otherwise free of fault.
What is important, in my eyes, is that it is the SE PC Companion which has created an integrated synch platform for all three software systems, and for that reason, SE should facilitate the three parties to co-ordinate a fix. Given the size and scale of SE corporately, and the possibility that this fault will permeate other similar product amalgamations, I think SE is abdicating it's responsibility if it does not drive the matter forward technically with Microsoft and Google.
Sincerely,
Peter

Hi Markus,
I just could not disagree with what Peter comment especially on the responsibility piece.
Having said that, if we will to put Ms Outlook aside, and just looking at the sync issues between Google and Arc .... Arc can not displayed the same meeting events as what I see on Google, does SE owns to fix this piece?

I totally understand you and I'm sorry I could not give you guys a better answer.
I will forward your thoughs on this. Unfortunately, for the time being, that's I can do.
Now that sounds like a different matter.
Can you please explain this a bit more detailed and, if possible, provide me with some steps for how I can reproduce the same issue in my Xperia arc?
I'm using the stock app for calendar and Google sync myself and I can't say I've encountered any issues similar to what you're describing with the arc not showing all/the same data as Google.
Hi Markus,
It is not new issue!
In my original message, I wrote :

I had been emphasis a lot (and a lot) the sync problem is between google and arc.
I am using the default calender came with the Arc, Calender 31. Has been tried different versions of calendar, seems all the calendar having the same readings.
