C510 screen problems and more

Hi all

When I try turning on my C510, I get the usual vibration and the lights coming on, however the screen does not come on. Furthermore all the lights remain on. Whatever buttons I press appear to do nothing at this stage. I can take out the batery to switch of the mobile and then start it up again to go into that same state. I have tried connecting the mobile to computer/charger all to no avail. When I try ringing my phone, I hear nothing for about 20 secs and then suddenly cuts into "can't take your call right now ....please leave message after tone".

Any ideas?

hi @singh246 I would suggest to repair your phone using SUS here's the link http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/ ...download it to your pc then install it...and go through the on screen direction.....and keep us updated...

Thanks for the reply.

Just a check with you. It says "data stored in the phone memory will be lost". Will this mean I lose my numbers. I know if I have saved them to my SIM card then they won't but I am not sure if I have or not

yeah it will delete all user data phnbook too...!!! nt the memory card and sim...and don't forget to mark my answer as correct and helpful!! and please update us after the repair!!!!!

Ok but I am not sure if I have saved my numbers to the phone or to the SIM. What is the default setting when adding numbers?

most likely to be phone if got another handset try inserting ur sim and check!!
