Brand new Xperia Ray says I have 35 seconds battery left?

Hello I have recently bought a new Xperia Ray, I've charged it for 8 hours straight last night and turned it on this morning and installed the new Android OS, but just playing around with it and checking how much time my battery has left on it, at fully charged 100% it says I have 35 seconds left on it.

I don't know if this is just a bug but this is REALLY strange, after leaving it for a few minutes, I check back again it says "4 minutes left" and the charge went down to 99%. Is this what all new model androids do or should I get my battery checked? I am not familiar with Androids since I've been using iPhone's Apple OS and recently decided to change. What should I do :smileysad:.

Hi , it doesn;t means 35 seconds left on battery but shows for how much time your mobile has been on battery ( after disconnecting charger)

Oh... Oh gosh!!! I feel like a complete idiot now!

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me Nabeel! I have been searching everywhere for an answer but I think I looked past what the values the phone displayed actually meant!
