hii there...m new in walkman family...

i bought live with walkman few days back....n i luv my phone....bt today i felt some kind of blinking of display....in it...is this a problem?

if it is so...then plz help me on this....

it might be the ambient light sensor on the top of screen which automatically adjusts the brightness of the display...
just do a test... concentrate some light source at the front of your mobile...... cover your ambient light sensor with finger and the brightness must decrease and if u remove it the brightness must increase

is this what u r referring to as blinking or u face a different thing

hmm , even my arc sometimes flickr.. it depends on the ammbient light as mentioned by nabeelraza.. it will happen sometimes , not all the times , so you should not worry...

if it happens all the time then you should get it checked,,, but yes follow nabeelraza's advice first..

no man...its not working...

the blink is like very minor change in diplay brightness...bt it is very frequent or u can say fast...like blinking of old fashioned tubelights....;)..

ok dial *#*#7378423#*#*

then select service tests and then select proximity switch..

it will say off....

now move your finger over the sensor and it should turn on..

yeah...its turning on....

ma problem is still d same...bt d problem is not happning very quickly...its very rare,,..n for very less tymm..n as i clicks d lock button...it vanishes...n evry thing becom so normal...

ya..im also having same display problem...it is automatically on and off....

im closing da sensor with my finger...but nothing change...

its again nd again displlays...im calling the customer care of servecing centre...he told me update the phone...how can i update dis...bcoz im already useing companion suit but its not working...
