Battery Getting Hot

I am using Xperia Ray. But after upgrading to ICS i feel my handset become after use of some moments.

battery heats up during moderate to heavy use, especially when you use wifi/browsing

But How to prevent these things. Is these thing gonna create bad effect on my phone.

this is normal, not unless the phone start to emit burnt odor. or something like that.

try to have have rest periods in between browsing and try to restart the phone to close running apps

Hey.. Even I had the same problem.. Try the following..

Settings > Xperia > Sony Facebook Integration >Select applications > Uncheck Sync Calendar and Sync Contacs options

your batter will last for good 14hrs with data turned on.. and yes.. no overheating.. Hope this helps
