Background Data after Update

I have just updated my xperia P. I can't seem to find where to turn off the background data traffic now since, its not in the same place as before and it is constantly on and I don't want it to be. Does anyone know how to turn off the BACKGROUND DATA TRAFFIC?

There is no background data option ( enbale/ disable) like that of GB.

In ICS , you have to disable background data connection for indvidual app , and if you want to enbale, then follow the same procedure again.

First enbale data connection, then go to data usage tab below , set mobile internet usage limit, after that scroll down to see list of apps, using data connection ( the list will grow more as and when you use mobile internet) , click on any one app whose usage you want to control, check mark the box at the end of page to restirct using the mobile internet by that app [ now that app will run only on wifi unless you uncheck that box ].
