no arc will get the ics update in late april , dont worry

Can this prerooted firmware be flashed on an UNLOCKED bootloader? I'm asking because I cannot seem to root my phone after I update it to 4.0.2.A.0.62 using the flashtool by Androxyde and thus I am now still using 4.0.2.A.0.42. Can you help me in rooting my phone using the latest .62 version>

you don't have to unlock your bootloader to root your phone, as you can see above you can change kernel

I just realized my mistake. I mean, can the prerooted firmware be flashed to a LOCKED bootloader. Mine is locked and can't seem to root the latest firmware. I downloaded the Global Firmware from xda developers
