ARC S ICS BETA/ ICS FINAL

Hi, I've been trying to find out if I will be able to update my arc s from the ice cream sanwich beta directly to the final version of ice cream sandwich. I have not been able to find this information anywhere and was hoping that someone could clarify this for me? also, will if I will be able to update, will I be able to directly via the sony PC companion? I pressed update after I updated to ICS beta, and it came up with an error message saying modified software could not be updated/repaired. Is this likely to happen when I update to the final ICS or is it just because the Pc companion doesn't recognise the beta? Thanks

Hi, it was by using the sonymobile unlocker and following the instructions on the site.

You will not be able to connect to PC Companion or Update Service once the bootloader is unlocked.

you need to re-lock your bootloader, your warranty its gone as well as the DRM files ( you can not restore them) only then you can use PCC or SUS to update to ICS
