The smartphone is rumored to pack a dual--core CPU, clocked at 1.5GHz and a gig of RAM. The device's 4.3" screen is bound to be a thing of beauty with its 1280x720 pixels resolution. We still don't know the capability of the camera units of the Nozomi. As you can notice in the pictures above, the device in the leaked shots is running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. Given the phone's design however (the hardware buttons can be barely seen on the device), don't be surprised if you see it ship with Ice Cream Sandwich on board.

New info...
It will not have any physical touch buttons but capacitive buttons... Ie the back , home and the menu button...
1.5GHz dual-core processor, 12MP camera, a 4.3-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 1GB RAM, 32GB ROM (no micro-SD slot) and a sealed 1750mAh battery.
So no user replaceable battery....
ok now that's really going backwards, sealed battery, what the ... what? this is an Android not an iCrap ugh I don't like that at all, the strip of LED in the back it's hideous enough, even the LED lights on the current Xperias between the back home menu buttons are bad now a whole strip in the back, why? why?
ok so
NO micro SD card support (I don't think I can convice myself to buy a phone w/o micro SD card support)
Sealed battery
1750mAh battery will never be enough .and that too sealed battery ? Sony will again be criticized for this .. why they always do something like this??
32gb inbuilt sounds good ..
specs are intresting .. but the 12mp cam will be useless if it also suffers from compression bug
sealed battery? it doesn't make sense, I'm hopping that the bottom part of the phone has an sliding part to take the battery out, like some HTC models
and NO micro SD card, that's another HUGE!!!! problem
First off, its such a boring thin rectangular slab. Top that with some hideous LEDs, and then non removable storage, non removable battery.
The second one looks better but again the bump why!! why!!???
These designs are so ubiquituous, Boorrring!! And no respite on the storage or the battery thing as well ... Sucks.
Now the question arises
Are you going to buy a boring Sony Handset or a boring Samsung Handset (but with with extreme performance for Samsung) ???
exactly my point, if the new Xperias will look the same as Samsung's or HTC but SE products lack top of the line hardware, the answer it's quite obvious, why would anyone pay "as much" or "more" than a samsung or htc that come with better hardware and the same software AND it seems that Samsung does update their OLD phones unlike the "up to 2 years" from sony ericsson, this could be it for SE. we'll have to wait and see, I really hope this isn't the real phone but a prototype
it kinda looks like the Nokia N9/lumina 800
Hmm lots of replies here...
Well.seriously why se is becoming or wanna become the icrap... Icrap sucks....
I hope theres no hanging problem , if there is then what the hell the user will do..
As saurabh mentioned , we dont want that icrap4s 8mp camera overpowers this new 12mp camera 😕
Icrap 4s camera is better than the sony ericsoon flagship phone xperia arc.... Wow.....
I agree with you winter stars.. Samsung does not have the looks or boldness but still they have brilliant hardware , one arc user switched to the galaxy s2 and hes happy with his choice...
O
And uliwooly the blue line on the back cover. Is it really the led..????? I cant believe it...
it seems like an annoying LED strip, did SE bought a lot of those bluish LED that go behind the front buttons and they are trying to use all of them
lol haha...good one..
