Sorry to hear about the update failure. You could try restarting the PC and running through the process again, it sounds like the PC may be interrupting the connection to the phone at some stage, however, a restart may very well help resolve that.

My model is Xperia M5 dual E5663. I also downloaded the software for several times. But each time while installation, mobile is switched off and again switched on automatically. But after few times it shows that software update is failed. Is there any other way to solve the problem without going for software repair?

Does it boot at all? If it boots, simply try updating it using Xperia Companion. If you can't boot it but are presented with a "Software update failed" message, then I can only advice that you try to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

How to manage Xperia companion? It seems that system boots. Please brief me how to proceed?

I try to use software repair to reinstall the device software in my c2305 phone.

@dembo1972 Try restarting your computer and then restart the process, does that help? Should it persists, try reinstalling Xperia Companion and make sure that Xperia Companion has access to the Internet (not blocked by your system).

Hi everyone,

I have tried to update my M4 Aqua Dual (E2312) twice using the Xperia Companion but I always get  UEGetPhoneInfoFailure
UE_1200. Can anyone help.

I've had the same problem just a moment ago while i tried to update the android through the sony mobile application and fix that by:

1- restrting my computer

2- disabling my antivirus

3-start the sony mobile application

4- start the update

and that went just fine.

the message points to a connection error with the update server so that means something blocking the application.

do my steps and let me know.

gotta install the update after i just finished downloading it.
