Hi @Pa1977, do I understand you correctly in that your device is locked to a carrier, and you wish to unlock it so that you may use any carrier?
This may not be available on some markets, so I can only speak of how it works in my local market (the Nordics market). First, you would have to get in touch with your carrier to see if they offer codes for unlocking the device from their network. Once you have acquired the code, insert a SIM card in your device from a carrier which your device is not locked to - this will prompt a menu asking you to enter a code for unlocking the SIM network, now enter the code acquired from your carrier.
The steps provided above are what applies in my local market, but this may vary for yours. I recommend that you get in touch with your carrier and Local support team in order to see what available options you have for unlocking your SIM network for your device locally.
