@tambo1

Sorry to hear about your phone. You'll need to contact your Local support for more information about your warranty, this is a user-based forum, and moreover, warranty terms will differ between distributors and markets.

Hi @tambo1, sorry to hear about your phone. Slightly_frowning_Face

As @Quester wrote, this type of inquires are best raised with your Local support team since this may vary between markets and they are the experts on your specific market.

They will also help you arrange a repair and answer any questions about local service routines, consumer laws and so forth.

I hope that helps! Slightly_smiling_Face

Sorry to hear that. Slightly_frowning_Face

Which support are you trying to contact (country)?

Are they not replying to your emails or can't you get through to them if you call them or open up a chat?

They may not be able to answer your inquiry if it's covered by warranty or not before the phone has been examined at an authorized service centre, they should however be able to assist you with having your phone sent in to one of those.

Get back to me and I will see what I can do! Slightly_smiling_Face

I had the same problem, and I think my phone has not the correct screen (it was supposed to be gorillaz glass, which needs more extreme situations to break). Did you figured out if the screen was made with the correct materials?

Hi @--Lis--, sorry to hear about your phone. Slightly_frowning_Face

According to the information that I have available, the front glass on the Xperia M5 is Gorilla glass.

To have your phone repaired, I'd recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team and they will assist you further!

@tambo99, I'm afraid that I don't quite understand your question, would you be so kind to elaborate?
