No sim card error

Hello, never had problems with this fantastic smartphone but recently I keep on receiving this error and have to restart. Then the problem is fixed till it comes back again any time...
Of course when this error occurs I'm not able to receive calls and sometimes I'm not aware of it. Please I need help!

His,

Definitely this problem occurs only at home with the WiFi on that sometime gets no service or is very low. This problem doesn't show up in any other situation.

I think it doesn't depend on my device.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Pimpernella,

I'm sorry to hear that. Have your tried a different SIM-card with your Xperia M4 Aqua? Does it behave the same way? If I haven't I would recommend that you try a different SIM-card with your device to  see if the behavior persists.

If it does i I'd recommend that you get in contact with your Local support for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

I received this device for Christmas and never had problems with my sim card till 2 days ago. I tried to change the sim as you suggested but no way. Anyway, I found out that only with the WiFi this problem shows up...could this problem can be related to my house wifi?
If not I'll have to consider to go to my assistance local point.
Thanks a lot

Does this behavior only occur when you are connected to your home Wi-Fi network? Have you tried connecting to a different Wi-Fi network to see if the same behavior persists? Also what happens if you turn off Wi-Fi, how does the phone behave then?

Also if you can try to reboot your phone to safe mode to see if a downloaded app may be causing the behavior as all downloaded apps are temporarily disabled in this mode.

Let me know how it goes!
