Microphone problems during calls and other applications

My microphone does not work during calls (other persons cannot hear me), but if I activate  the speaker it works.I suspect a software problem, because it works with the app "audio recorded" and for calls  with speaker mode, but it does not work with calls, Whatapp, Google and it does not pass the diagnostic tests.

I tried the solutions indicated in the forum : 1. repairing the phone, 2. Deactivating google voice, 3. Unchecking microphone disturb reduction but nothing solves the problem. Honestly it is a nightmare!

Hi @gafesta, sorry to hear about this.

Based on the troubleshooting you have already done on your own, this does sound like it's related to hardware and not software.

Have you tried the inbuilt test for the microphone? You can find it in Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Microphone.

If the microphone is not working in the test, your device will need to be examined at an authorized service centre and your Local support team will assist you with having it sent there!
