Lost waterproof.

Hi All,

I've been usin gmy Sony M5 for past 1 and haf year and I've used my phone underwater to take pics.

Recenly had an issue with my display, got it changed from the authorized service center  via Extended warranty program.

Accidetaly my phone took a bath, where a glass of water spilled over it. Nothing really happened then, after 2 days, my display started acting weird, and the touch stopped working (eventhough the display works). Now the service center claim that there was water leake in my phone and the warranty is not covered because of it.

I am having a feel that the service guys have not sealed my phone properly and that was the reason it  did not protect me from just water spill.

Can anyone help me, what do I do here? I am really worried here.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue but this is a global user based forum, its better that you stay in contact with your Local support, also, keep in mind that maybe if you dropped the phone or there were physical damages on the phone, the phone won't be waterproof.

Thank you for your  reply, but there is no physical damage in my phone and I've never dropped m phone even for once.

I am here trying to find the reason why my phone suddenly lost the waterproof ability with just a glass of water spill over my phone?

Is there any option to find the Root Cause of this problem?

Please dont tell me water spill was the cause for this issue.
