I unlocked mine way back when it was on Android version 4.4.2.. Now there's an update to 4.4.4. but I can't update it since I have an Unlocked Bootloader right? :(. So.. Is there a way for me to lock it back?
My Phone are Xperia M2(D2305)
I removed some of the bloatwares from my XM2 and I accidently remove a Key Modules made for the devices. Everything works fine except the usb. When I connect it to the computer, It doesn't show anything on the device and it show "Not Recognize" on my computer. Tried with another computer/laptop, still doesn't show anything on the device. It only charges the phone.
If theres an apps or anything to fix the problem, I appreciate it.
pls help me i lost network connection after i flash to lollipop update using PCC. now it is No service. but i can register my service provider but the signal shows for 1 sec then drops. what seems to be the problem?
how did you relock ur bootloader .please give me that process
same problem
- use flashtool to relock (press unlock)
- if device does not switch on go to fastboot mode and reboot it with fastboot
- update software with sony xperia companion
I tried flashtool on my XZ1 on both Windows 10 and Linux. Neither detect the phone successfullyso I cannot relock.
By the way... How come Sony leaves us hangig with broken devices? That's extremely bad service.
it't their way of punishing us for daring to touch the bootloader.. I know.. but a lot of programs ask for root access, some of the best programs that give the user the control to do a lot all require root.
I recently bought a Xperia XA2 Ultra Dual Sim. After some suggestions, i was 'convinced' to go on and flash my device. So i went to Jolla's site and followed instuctions there. That was 'piece of cake. Everything fine so far. But then, ups... i had forgot some apps i really could not discard, and not install on Sailfish OS 3, so short of time, i found out: Install it back. Just flash the original software. No, no, no. Not that easy to do. At first hand. Because as many others found out: using the PC Companion does NOT work as your phone has a unlocked bootloader.. Then i got panic. But some calls to Sony and some talks sent me the right direction. Piece of cake again. Takes only some minutes .
1. Go to Sony's: https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/download-flash-tool/
Install it.
2. Follow this: https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/how-to-flash/
Only a little bit time, and your phone needs some good time to start up again. And everything is like before now on my phone. I unlocked my phone. And flashed Sailfis OS 3. Perfect OS by the way. Surely will go back there later when it has my apps in store.
