I was running like this before with no problem

PS3 -->  STR-DG910 -->  projector Infocus X10

and no i have updated the receiver like this and get no picture

PS3 -->  STR-DN1080 -->  projector Infocus X10

if connect it to my LG tv it works

PS3 --> STR-DN1080 --> Lg C9

if connect it like this it works

PS3 -->  STR-DN1080 -->  splitter --> projector Infocus X10

what are the different between STR-DN1080 and STR-DG910?

Hello @sctnsky,

have you checked which output resolutions are "ticked" on the PS3?

Have you run an "auto" detection again after connecting it to the STR-DN1080?

720p, 1080i and 1080p

I have also done the EDID reset on the PS3.
