sony htxt3 cek soundbase

Purchased this from John Lewis two months ago in combination with a Sony 55'' tv.

Soundbase works intermittantly so have returned it for a new one .It has apparently now been discontinued and there appears to be no replacement model.Does anyone know if

this is the case ??
