Why cant I transfer videos from my Sony Handycam CCD-TRV57E to my laptop.

Hi, I have been on Sony website but there are no drivers available because of its age. I have downloaded wondershare but it cant find my camcorder. I have tried audio and video capture gadget but no luck. I can get it to play on my t/v but not on my laptop which is annoying because I would like to burn some of the videos to tape. please help. Nodrog.

You have t find out a pc that still spot an ilink/firewire connector (if I'm right you camera should have it) that needs no driver to work. Or you need an analogue to digital converter card to feed the same output you send to the tv to your pc.
