What are you trying to set exactly, and is it covered by one of the links above, into the web manual for your TV?

I just want to be able to see a future programme on the guide. And set a reminder on it to start automatucally when its time for it to start
Hope that makes sense
I press the ok button as i do on the other sony bravia we have but it just says programme not available. Or something along those lines.

Complete sense, but you said it yourself, not a Timer, but a Reminder.

It looks like to set a reminder, you schedule a Recording, and then change the Schedule Type to Reminder.
I have seen better UIs 😢

It let me change from record to reminder. But then it reverted back to record. So still doesn.t work.
But thank you for trying to help

That’s a shame - we found the feature at least, but it doesn’t actually seem to work 😢
There wasn’t a Save you should have pressed, was there?
But not having a roomful of different Sony TVs, I can only rely on what the published manuals say.
However, you should be able to as well - if you are setting Reminder and having it revert to Record, then this sounds like a bug in this TV’s software.
Which you, or possibly one of the Sony people who monitor this Community, should pick up and report, so it can be fixed.

I hope so. I was considering factory reset and starting from scratch. I set up the 43 inch we bought at weekend in 5 mins. Easy. This one durung set up was all over the place. Theres no youview or alternative live tv on it. Noticed that last night. So defo sounds like a software thing. Thank you for your help

Hey @Jo10toe
It sounds like a software issue, so did you try checking if its software is up-to-date? https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-w80x-series/kd-32w800/software/00300768
