Horizontal black line across tv

Whilst watching TV last night a black line appeared 2 thirds of the way up the tv. Below that the screen goes blurry every few seconds. 

I removed the power source over night. To no avail. 

Tried apps on tv and have the same issue. 

Any advice on how to rectify the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Is my tv done?

Can you let us know the TV model to check if there's something to be done?
In the meantime, you can check if the software is up to date or not, maybe try a factory reset if you can as well.
