Bluetooth headphones problem

Hi 

 

I have a Sony KD 55XG8096 and I have successfully pairEd my Bluetooth headphones but the sound is still coming from the TV. I have tried playing about in the sound settings but without success, can anyone help with this.

How did you connect BT headphone on your unsupported TV?

If it was supported you could set it up via the related menu https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/gaep1/v1/en/08-05_09.html
