Can I use CF Express type B in the Sony A7IV to record video slomo?

No.

 

I have the Sony A7R V, which is similar: it accepts CFexpress Type A memory card ONLY.  One of the slots in the A7RV accepts CFexpress Type A, in the other slot I would use a UHS-II SD Card no less than the V60 version, possible the V90.
