Hi @Crazyfrec

Welcome to the forum and i wish you a happy new year.

I´m sorry to know that. Let´s try this steps before performing a software repair.

About the screen/app crasches/performance/camera:

1)

Let´s use the Xperia™ Diagnostics application to carry out a quick test to check the touchscreen functionality. Xperia™ Diagnostics can assess potential hardware or software issues on your Xperia™ device.
To run a specific diagnostic test
  1. From your Home screen, tap Icn sony home apptray normal.
  2. Find and tap Settings > About phone > Diagnostics.
  3. Swipe to the TEST tab and select a test from the list.
  4. Follow the instructions and tap YES or NO to confirm if the feature works.
  5. Tap Done.

2)

There are a number of solutions that you can try if your touchscreen is over-sensitive, acts on its own, is unresponsive or has poor sensitivity.

  • The touchscreen’s performance may be affected by dirt, heat or the use of device covers or screen protectors:
    • If you have applied a screen protector on your device, make sure that it is properly fitted and that there are no air bubbles, dust or moisture under the screen protector.

    • Remove any protective case or cover from your device to verify it's not interfering with the touchscreen.

    • Wipe the screen with a clean and dry cloth to make sure that your touchscreen is clean. Make sure that your hands and fingers are clean and dry before using the touchscreen.

    • If the device gets too hot, the touch functionality may be affected. Let it cool off and then try using the touchscreen again.

  • Turn off your device and then turn it back on. By doing this you turn off all running applications and free up memory, which sometimes automatically solves the issue.

  • You can force your device to restart or shut down in situations where it stops responding or won't restart normally. No settings or personal data get deleted during a forced restart.
To force the device to shut down
Forcing Sony Xperia™ Z5 to shut down

  1. Open the cover for the nano SIM card and memory card slot.
  2. Using the tip of a pen or a similar object, press and hold down the OFF button for a few seconds.
  3. After your device emits a series of three quick vibrations, release the OFF button. The device turns off automatically.

Note

Do not use overly sharp objects that could damage the OFF button.

To turn on the device
  1. Press and hold down the power key Icn sony key and power k90 until the device vibrates.
  2. Wait a moment for the device to start.

3)

  • If the problem occurs when your device is charging, make sure that you are using an original Sony charger and a USB cable specifically intended for charging your device. Other chargers may have a negative impact on the functionality of the touchscreen.

    4)
  • If there is a memory card in your device, remove it and restart the device. If removing the memory card solves the issue, your SD card may be damaged. In this case you need to get a replacement SD card for your Xperia™ device.

    5)
  • Use safe mode to check if any downloaded applications are causing the problem. In safe mode, your device only starts with software and applications that were already installed when you purchased your device. If the device’s performance improves in safe mode, it’s likely that one or more of your post-purchase downloaded applications are affecting the device negatively. You can exit safe mode and restart the device to uninstall the application or applications that you suspect are causing the problem. If the problem is recent and you're not sure which application is causing the problem, you can start by uninstalling the most recently downloaded application:
To enable safe mode
  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Press and hold down the power key Icn sony key and power k90 until the device vibrates.
  3. When the Sony and Xperia™ logotypes appear, press and hold the Volume down key until Safe mode appears on the screen.

Note

To exit safe mode, restart the device.

To uninstall an application from the Application screen
  1. Touch and hold any area on the Application screen until the device vibrates. All applications that can be uninstalled are then indicated by Icn sony home uninstall.
  2. Select the application that you want to uninstall, then tap Delete.

Note

Some apps indicated by Icn sony home uninstall can only be disabled and not uninstalled. Disabling an app deletes all data, but the app can be enabled again from Settings > Apps.

Note: Try to make a phone call to see, if in safe mode, the problem persists!

About calling:

  • Check the network signal strength in the status bar to make sure your device is connected to a network. If the signal is weak or you have no signal, move to an open location that is free from obstructions, or get close to a window.

  • Make sure that your hand isn’t covering the phone microphone. If your Xperia™ device uses a cover or a case, remove it to see if the sound quality improves. Check that there is no water or dust blocking the microphone or the area around the microphone.

  • Turn off your device and then turn it back on. By doing this you turn off all running applications and free up memory, which sometimes automatically solves the issue.

  • Turn off call audio enhancement features.
To set the call audio equalizer to normal
    1. From your Home screen, tap Icn sony home apptray normal.
    2. Find and tap Settings > Call > Equaliser.
    3. Tap Normal.
    To turn off slow talk
    1. From your Home screen, tap Icn sony home apptray normal.
    2. Find and tap Settings > Call.
    3. Find and drag the slider beside Slow talk to the left.
  • Make a call to another phone to confirm that there isn’t a problem with the ear speaker of the phone you were calling when the problem arose. If possible, make a call with a different SIM card, to make sure that your current SIM card isn’t defective or old.

If the suggested solutions do not work, try the following actions:

  • Run the Xperia™ Diagnostics application to verify that the microphone and ear speaker are working properly.
    5. Tap Done.

I know that´s a lot of stuff, but by doing this, we´ll try to see if there´s something that can be fixed withou loosing any data (software repair) or even take your device to a Sony Center. Please, let me know how it goes!
