Z5 premium bent

Recently, or in other words, less than a week ago, I bought myself the Z5 premium and so far, everything has been fantastic. Apart from the lack of earphones included in my £600 purchase...

Only now I've taken it out my pocket and noticed the side casing had popped out a bit, upon further inspection I now realise that my brand new top of the range smartphone, is housed in a cheap bent frame. Anyone know how to get this resolved without sending it away? Only just had my Z2 fixed and it took over a week to get it back. Not good enough Sony.

Has anyone's bent Xperia since stopped working? Mine just bent today but is working otherwise fine, so I'm probably just going to keep it as is.

Apart from the camera ever so slightly distorting some photos (rectangle shape bows in the middle) my device has been working fine since I started this thread, which is why I haven't sent it in yet as I know they'll just charge for a repair.

my phone was charging on dash when a message came up and said powering off because of extreme overheating?.So contacted insurance firm that supplied phone.(through current acc card insurance). It would not turn on so sent it back to carphone warehouse who returned phone saying it was bent(cant see bend myself ) but has anyone had the overheating problem.?

I have been researching the bent z5 issue for about a year and it is most definitely a Sony issue, however I have not seen any successful claims against them as they say the warranty is void. From what I have seen it is due to the material around the power/lock button being to thin causing it to bend. I have had to buy a new replacement recently so will be contacting Sony
