While using it tonight it froze with the screen on. Holding down the power button failed to restart the phone. Using a pointed object on the SIM slot power button also failed: no vibrations, no change to the phone. The Sony Bridge for Mac program did not detect a device was connected.
The battery is near-full and I require the use of my phone before it runs out. Any suggestions of what else to try?
I have been struggling the whole morning. My phone couldnt access internet so i tried restarting it and it took hours trying to shut down and i could not do anything untill i found ur comment. Thank you again.
You say Sony is so bad. My partner had a iPhone 4s and 5s and both devices had so many problems. Myself have had the Sony xperia z, Z2 and now Z5 premium. Never had any problems at all with Sony. Best phone by speciations by far and speed has never gone down with these devices. So before you start ranting and raving about devices get your facts straight. Every phone freezes once in a while. That is not because of the phone it's because of the app development!!
can anyone explain me why this happens in this phone?? It just happened to my xperia z5 couple of times in an hour. Any idea to get rid of these problems??
My Xperia Z5 dual is having same problem of freezing and no response. Do every time I have to use the power button and upper volume trick? Is there any permanent solution to this hanging problem? I don't play games and use my phone without making it overburdened. I get so scared when it sticks for a long duration. I don't want to regret 😞
I live in Singapore too. I've sent my phone there when there was some issues with my Sony Xperia Z5 and they usually take 5 to 7 days to fix my phone. Not so bad In my opinion. However my warranty ended a few weeks ago and I've only started experiencing such freezes now. My dad is using a Sony Xperia Z3 and he bought the phone much earlier than me, but till now he has not encountered such problems tho.
