I have a Z5 that shuts down when the battery reaches 20%. It will not start up again until it's plugged in. I have tried the usual suspects, stamina mode and macafee anti virus etc. Please help!! !! Thanks

I don't think it has to do with macafee, my suggestion, repair the phone with XC and report back.

Just to discard battery condition, is it ok?
You can check battery health in service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*).
