Z5 Compact Radio FM app freezing after Marshmallow Update

Hi there,

Yesterday I had my Z5c updated to Android 6.0 and after that, today I had some freezing issues with the Radio FM application.

2 or 3 times when I tried to minimize the application (after I changed the FM station) I got a frozen gray screen. I tried to closed the app, it appeared as closed, but radio was still working (!). After about 1 minute I got the message: "FM radio isn't responding. Do you want to close it?" I tried yes, but still didn't close! So I made a restart.

Then I tried to go to:   settings/apps/FM radio / Clear Data & Clear Cache

Since then, it seems to behave normally. Any ideas to avoid similar future issues??

We have found the cause for this and it will be fixed in an upcoming software update.

Great news !!!!! But you also have to fix the bug bluetooth......

Its my first message here so hello to everyone.

The same issue here on Z5 Compact on unbranded Central European (1298-7258) E5823- after a random while FM radio stops playing music. When I swich to app there is no station chosen, and when I try to quit the app I am getting "FM Radio does not answer, do you want to force close it" (in Polish). If I close it it never starts again - and phone is becoming unstable (stops responding etc) until I reboot the handset.

 It never happened on 5.x Did app data cleaning and then a factory reset ..

Waiting for the update, but is there any workaround in meantime - as I like riding a bike and listening to the morning radio broadcasts

Is there any indication about when the Fm radio fix will be rolled out. I am back from surgery and I'd love to update to MM but FM RADIO working is a must, at least for me.

What happened today ?

In the morning I got notification of an update, have installed it, radio was working fine. I have noticed version numer has not changed/

Then in the afternoon got another notification, installed it and radio stopped working ... Now I am on 32.1.a.1.185 and fm radio is not working.

Uff... I was hoping this FM Radio bug was over and time to install MM come.

I have the same problem. After updating to android 6 MM version 32.1.a.1.185 radio still stopping working (E6653).
