Hi all,
Am scratching my head since yesterday because of my Xperia Z3+ dual phone . While on a call yesterday, the call got disconnected in between and when I looked at the phone, the screen was blank , but the backlight was there. Then I force shutdown the phone with power button and volume+, and tried restaring the phone. after the initial vibration of starting , it gave three continuous vibrations and won't switch on. When all this happened, my battery was more than 50% charged. Repeat attempts to start the phone failed with same three vibrations. Then I connected the charger, and immediately red LED turned on, but followed by three vibrations. And this cycle repeats continuously when charger is connected. The red LED will go off momentarily, between the three vibrations.
1. I tried various combinations of buttons, like power and V+, power and V-, reset button near sim, with long durations and multiple times, but no change of behaviour.
2. Nothing on the screen , no backlight, no logo .. only three vibrations when switching on using power button, or continuous three vibrations when charger is connected.
3. Removed SIM and SD card and tried all these.. No change observed.
4. When connecting to PC , the LED turns on green (flash mode?) and no vibrations.
5. Tried software repair multiple times using Xperia companion; it is getting completed successfully on Xperia companion, till the last step asking to disconnect the phone from PC and start. When starting after disconnecting, the same behaviour occurs, ie three vibrations.
6. Left phone charging to wall socket for many hours continuously, ignoring the continuous vibrations, but after that also , it is the same red LED and three vibrations continuously.
7. Phone never got wet or fallen in water.( a learning from Z1 compact getting damaged from water )
Now am lost on ideas what to do for this problem. Please, can anybody help to resolve the issue..? Kindly help asap.. Thank you all..
