Z3+ constantly asking to authenticate

Hi
I have two z3+/z4 phones.
One is dual sim the normal.

Ive had this problem on both phones but the dual sim phone is getting worse.

Problem;
I switch off phone...switch on..it asks to connect to wifi to authenticate. Mxpt screen pops up.
There is no reason why it should do this. I've not reported it lost or tried to reset anything....just normal use.

I don't know how but i managed to solve this constant issue on the z3+.

But the dual sim phone asks to authentic everytime i try to use it.

I have no problem to authenticate, i find wifi hotspot and sign in. All ok again.
Then the next time i try to use it, same again...authenticate screen pops up and i cant use it.

But i am on 6 month tour of india. I dont have wifi all the time.
I dont have both phones with me so i can't use the other phones hotspot...besides which, thats not the solution to the problem.
Its just a pain.
Everytime i go to use phone it won't let me.

Please help. I feel like throwing away the phone as i can't use it when i really need it.

@2xsony

I know that's frustrating but it's to protect your phone, you could disable all security features on your phone.

Hi @2xsony, Im sorry to hear about that and I understand that this must be frustrating. Slightly_frowning_Face

I'd recommend that you try and remove your Google-account from your phone in Settings > Accounts > Google > your email adress > 3 dots > Remove account.

You will have to authenticate when removing the account so make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and that you have your Google credentials at hand.

When the account has been removed restart your phone normally and add your Google account again in Settings > Accounts > Add account.

Restart the phone again and see if you have to authenticate again.

Let me know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face

Do i deactivate the mxpt first or just leave it as is?
Im worried if i remove the account and then it asks me to authenticate that i will be permanently locked out.

Please clarify/confirm it will be safe to remove rhe avvount without deactivating mxtp
Thanks

Hello again!

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that in my previous reply. Slightly_frowning_Face

You can deactivate it first and then verify with your Google credentials, then remove the Google account and restart your device.

Add the account again and activate the service under Settings > Security > Protection by my Xperia.

Let me know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face

Wow.
You could have really screwed me up there!

You would still be able to authenticate with the first Google account that was added in your phone, so no worries about that! Slightly_smiling_Face

How is working now? Is it still asking you to authenticate after rebooting your phone?

Let me know! Slightly_smiling_Face
