Z3 Compact not showing all contact numbers

I have just bought this phone and have found that several of my friends and family telephone numbers are not showing in my contacts. My previous phone contacts were entirely synced with Google, FB and Hotmail. I've re - synced both phones but the telephone numbers are still not showing. I've gone into the shop where I bought the phone and they don't know what is going wrong. Bit annoying. Help please!

Contacts-settings-filters.From there,select what you want the device to show.

Thanks alexdon - done that, selected everything. Hasn't worked! Most puzzling!

Settings-apps-all-contacts,force stop and clear data.Restart and check again.

Thanks - can I check, will this delete my contacts from Google or Hotmail or FB? Slightly nervous!

As far as I know,it will only reset the app and the contacts should be intact.

It's working! I did what you suggested and also checked that all the accounts were synching - the FB one wasn't. Did that and now everything is there. Thanks for the help!
