Z1 Downgrade 4.4.2 to 4.3?

Just updated today to Android Version 4.4.2.

Now many errors occur. Is it possible to downgrade to 4.3?

This new version ruines this phone...

I have an unusual question.

My Customization Version is  1277-2364_R4C and it is not in XDA FTFs list. My question is that I bought my phone from India but now I live in Turkey, did it update with India FTF or Europe FTF until now? And does it matter if I download another FTF to flash? What do you suggest me to do?

I decide finally to downgrade my Xperia Z1 software from 4.4.2 to 4.3..its the best..but I can’t find a firmware for my customization version 1277-2880_R5C

Hi There,

The update to 4.4.2 messed up my phone (Xperia Z1, C6903) completely. Several apps aren't working as they were before.

I'm pretty upset about this! 

So I decided to downgrade to version 4.3, even though I promised myself I would not do something like that anymore, cause I already messed up a previous phone while flashing...

Here comes my question now:

My phone gives me the customization version 1276-0820_R1C, which is a KPN branded version in the Netherlands.

Problem is that I cannot find this version anywhere in the list of FTFs.

Could you please give me advise as to which 4.3 FTF I should use to downgrade the phone ?

even i was thinking the same, but the errors are unbearable. Camera gets closed automatically while taking snaps

Hey dear,

Dont panic your phone is fine no need to worry just do 1 thing for issues of battery drain/not charging/ showing error while charging, phone overheating, songs and videos stored in SD Card not showing in list.

keep your phone off While charging, apply it 2-3 times if not success in first time. During OFF phone will charge fastly and completely after charging use it till 10% battery remains.

Also just update your phone to latest andriod version.

I have experienced it and now working fine on KK 4.4.2 (14.3.A.0.757)

I followed the guide and ended up with a boot loop: Sony logo, Xperia logo, flying colors, a short freeze, reboot.

I tried both central european and generic roms, same thing. I did not check wiping user data. Any advices?

Hi, I just upgraded to .757 and wish to downgrade to .681 

I'm in Canada with the following information:

Customization Versionr:  1276-3533_R10C

Active Customization:  1276-2242_R14C

I have found that the new version screws up some of the apps I'm using and the battery drains much faster, even on Stamina mode.  It's pretty awful.   I suspect I'll lose some of my Bell branded apps when I do this?  Anything else I should know?  What are the chances of bricking my phone?    This new software update has been nothing but problematic for me.

Hello to alls.. really need help here.. I'm a new user of Z1.  Buy Z1 phone yesterday and really impress on previous adroid 4.3 version.. 

After upgrade to kitkat its start to annoying me.. so i start to google about this problems. now i know it was happen by kitkat.

i dont know how to do a flash.. which flash tool are suittable for Z1 right now? 

i search for my country firmware on xda.developer and i could't find it..

i really want to get rid this kitkat off from my z1..
