My phone was stolen,I used the tracking tool but can't locate it

May be it's switched off or not connected to internet

My question about, if the phone is formatted or factory rested would I be still able to locate it once connected to internet?

And would it help if I have the IMEI to track my phone if my account deleted from it ???

Welcome to the community. 

Unfortunately if the phone is wiped or a factory reset is performed you would be unable to locate the device even if it was connected to Wifi or mobile data afterwards. Even having the IMEI of the device would not help in this case
