Xperia Z5 Premium charging issues

Hello

When I plug my phone in to charge it turns itself off. When I unplug it, I have to hold the power button + volume up button at the same time. The phone does charge. But I don't want it to switch itself off while it's doing it. Can anyone help?

Can you please tell me if you are charging your device with an authoried Sony charger and cable?

Have you tried to charge your device by connecting it to a computer. If the device starts to charge and it doesn´t turn off, this may be a sign that the charger is not working properly. In that case, you need to replace the charger with an original Sony charger specifically intended for your device.

If any give you an insight of the problem, they it could be an hardware failure. In that case, i recomend you to contact your local support team so the phone can be diagnose in an authorized Sony Center to prevent any hardware or battery damage!
