Just wanted tp bring something up and hopefully find answers as when i phoned customer service they seemed to not really know anything about it.
I got my Xperia Z5 yesterday and was playing around with it. I know from the announcement at IFA 2015 that there is a revamped camera app to go with the new sensor; it is proudly displayed on the Sony website when you are looking at the Xperia Z5 Product Page. However, my Z5 has the old camera app that has been kicking around since maybe the Z1 launch. When i spoke to the woman over the phone, she said that is how it is supposed to be. I explained about the new app and she said "Well i have a Z5 in my hand now and it looks how it has always done". Therein lies my problem, it shouldn't do...
When i explained that there is a new app, she just kept explaining about how the one in her hand has the same app as the Xperia's have had for a few generations now.
Hence, my posting here. Hopefully I'll find someone who A) won't just ignore my explanation about the new camera app, and B) may be able to provide me with an answer as to why it isn't on my phone.
