XPERIA Z3c D5833 wi fi keeps dropping off every gew minutes

My wifi connection is extremely and keeps dropping off every couple of minutes. It keeps searching, sometimes connects but promptly drops it. This has been going on for a few days. I have attempted the fixes suggested - including opting for "use legacy DHCP.." Option under developer mode in settings. Appreciate a solution..

Can you try disabling Bluetooth and checking if your wifi connectivity improves? Also, you may want to try to restart your phone in safe mode or if it's possible try to connect to the 5ghz band or if you already are on the 5ghz you may try connecting to the 2.4ghz one.
