Make sure to unlock the phone from T-mobile, what I've used is unlock 4 cheap, or you can ask T-mobile for the unlock code; keep in mind that flashing other software won't unlock the phone.

Settings - More - Internet settings then select Accept then from the list choose your network provider, This should install Mobile data and MMS settings and if this fails then your Sim is at fault or your provider

Do you get 3g and lte coverage? Bc your phone might not support certain frequencies

Maybe it's the firmware that's on it that's preventing the connection, From what I can see the D6616 is only for the T-Mobile network

You could try creating and manually flashing the D6603 USA generic firmware - See here for details on how to create and flash - Not sure if it will work

yeah i think so, I tryied it like 5 times and it just wont get any thing but the T-Moble Updates, i was told the only way to get rid of T-Moble was to root it,

I have done it before on a different device and its not always a good idea so i decided to go back to my Iphone till ATT gets an Xperia designed for them...

thanks for all the ideas and help
