After update my xperia z3 to the android 6.0.1 the following message starts: "Google play services won't run unless you update Google Play Services"
?? What you mean?
When I click in the notification to go to atualize the google play services, the play store do not offers a update button to the app, just appears DEACTIVATE; when I click to deactivate appears the message: This app is a device administrator and must be deactivated before uninstalling.
Ok, lets remove the permissions, when I go now to the settings > security > device administrator > the google play services app do not appears!!!
And I am stuck on that. The notification on the top is annoying. All my apps are working well and updating well. The version number of the google play store's google play service app is older than mine, so I can't understan a thing.
my version 12.8.72 (000306-202717283)
available version: 12.6.85 (040306-197041431)
Any help?
Hi @Martin_Flores;
Try clear Google Play Services app cache and data (settings>apps>Google Play Services>storage>clear cache and clear data).
I already did that, and the notification disappears for a while, but returns in a time question.
I'm guessin that the notification will disappear when the play store's version became the same as mine, that makes sense, but is weird that my current version is newer that the play store's one and I'm still being asked to update, and that do not makes sense (will be a donwgrade).
I don't suppose that's the problem because I am using a XZ Premium with Android 8.0 and also my Google Play Services version is 12.8.72 and Play Store is 12.6.85 but I don't get any notification.
What is the possibility of being a another app that is causing the request to update?
Don't know, but you can try restarting the device in safe mode, that way the device will work only with the pre installed apps.
