Xperia z3 compact, ringtone doesnt work

The ringtones of my sony xperia z3 compact are not working.
All other tones still work, but when there is an incoming call, the phone is only vibrating without any sound.
I already changed the ringtones and the mobile phone is not in silent mode.

Any help please?

Where are the ringtones stored? restart the device and check again.

They are stored under music - notifications.
They used to work, but out of a sudden one day there was no sound any more. I already restarted the phone several times...

E.g. When I change the volume for the tones, the sound for the media and clock do work, when i change the volume for the calls i cannot hear anything (i already tried amother store..)

I have to restart my phone once a day to make it ring.

I have been struggling with my Sony Xperia compact Z3 for over a year? Everything works except incoming ringing? Surely someone must have found a fix for this by now? It's such a nice phone otherwise?

My xperia z3 alla of a sudden has decidec not to ring anymore. Tried to restart with non results. Whta can I do ?
