xperia z2 issues after 17.1.2.A.0.314 update

HI

since the last update 17.1.2.A.0.314 my phone has became very laggy and the Fm radio doesnt work anymore.has anyone else had this issue?

is there any sort of fix for this? if not can i roll back to the previous firmware?

edit: i have now just noticed that the radio works when screen is locked but not when im in the app etc

Try to clear cache of the device to do this go into settings >storage and select clear cache

The only thing I have noticed so far since the update is that the wireless hotspot has issues. 

You can establish connections to other devices.  But they can not  connect to the listened. 

Applications running on the phone can access the Internet.

I have had all of the issues mentioned here since the update to 314.  Unable to connect to any wifi at all.  The phone is completely useless, and I have already gone over my wireless data for the month now.  This phone was a HUGE mistake.  Back to iPhone for me.

Thank you for that info. I was having a problem trying to verify my update. I've rooted my phone before and then unrooted it to try to fix the problem but didn't. Just incase the update is already fixed, is there anyway I can flash the stock firmware to try to fix my update issue? Thank you guys!

Even if not a solution, I just set a random word in GoogleNow, so that it stops listening to my commands while I'm on the Radio. This allows the Radio to work in the Screen ON/OFF state. When I need GoogleNow to listen, I just swipe off the appplication from the TaskManager.

Why do sony or google for that matter think i want the operation of my xperia to look like an iphone. At least give us the options to change what we want on the phone, so it suits us not what they think everyone should have, also give us the option of rolling back the update if it dosen't suit us. The phone is now looking like mode, since when has a triangle meant back !!?? and the size of the icons-what! Things don't work like they used too. If i want a pattern lock now i have to swipe the screen as well as enter the pattern, an extra thing to do to unlock the phone, and they still haven't given us the option to take emergency calls off the lock screen.

I don't think i'll be having another sony again i will be going back to HTC.
