Your right.
Your local Sony service centre will repair any Sony device you submit for repair.
But at your cost.
The question is whether they will accept the repair under warranty.
Different regions have different laws, but my understanding is what your Sony centre is saying is correct.
Did you buy it from them?
If not, then simply return it to the store you purchased it from to submit an RMA Support ticket.
Odds on it'll still end up being repaired by the same service centre.
But not at your cost. :smileysmileywink:
And no, I don't work for Sony Mobile.
Dear themanspirit
the issue that when i give it to Sony Center and I tell them to repair it!!!! they said that they dont have the spare part for this model and they took my phone no. and they will call me when it's availabe??? and I tell them !!!!!!!!!!! Seriuosly !!!!!!! and I know for sure that they are certified Sony repair center!!!!!
I don't know why Sony treat their Costumers like this ?? now I'm posting in Sony Mobile forum and they don't even reply me?? I think I will switch from using Sony Devices since they don't care about their costumers and I'm a senior IT and a lot of people ask me what device that we should buy and I recommed Sony Xperia Z series but if Sony didn't help me to fix my issue I will buy another product that help their costumers.
what exactly red is indicator does it flash red few tims then stop then flash again? once you connect the charger to the phone if so leave it for 1-2 hours since when it does that it means battery is drained to 0% and is completely empty so for it to fill up then leave it for a while and see if it wakes up if not try doing this run sony PC Companion then get it to start a restore/re-install of your model or try using Sony Update Service program at http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/ make sure phone is off pick your model you got then hold down volume down button while connecting it to pc hopefully you will hear a connecting sound and a green or blue dot will light up on your phone once drivers has been installed then from there use sony update service and let it wipe all your data and hopefully after re-install your phone will be back to life agin but remember this will wipe all data stored on mobile part but wont touch your SD card
Jake, the issue that the device cannot boot at all thats why the PC detect it as a USB device and yes i have tried that and it's the same it won't boot
I tried to update my xperia z yesterday using Sony pcc but I got an error since then when I try to switch on my phone the following error came up "The software update failed.Make sure that the phone is connected to the computer and try again."
I tried repairing it with Sony pcc first but the error that the phone couldn't be repaired and the software update was cancelled came up I did this twice but still no luck then I tried it using sus but the \n my phone battery was low according to sus so I plugged it in the wall charger for about one and half an hour but the software update failed error message was looping again and again and the color of my phones led was red from the start I also tried volume up and power key I got 4 vibrations form my phone even then the phone displayed the error while charging.
Any help is welcomed.
Thank you in advance.:)
Yesterday my Xperia Zl's battery died i have been chargeing it for 10 plus hours connected to a wallsocket.
The device will not turn on. my computer dose not recognize it as a phone so i cant even use pc compainion to repari...
The thing is that my phone is not charged so at any point it could go off and when I plugged it into the wall charger the error keeps on looping and the led is red only even after 2 hours of charging.
Can you try to repair it with sony update service? If still not working, take the phone to a sony service.
