xperia z won't turn on and can't charge.

My phone suddenly won't turn on. I've tried to charged but it wasn't charging coz the LED lighting is not working.

What happen to my phone ? Any solution u can share to me ? i need your help..anyone that know how to solve this problem.

The same problem here. I had the same issue with my last one too but was assured the battery issues had been improved. None of the advice I have read on this thread has worked.

I really need a working phone, any other ideas anyone?

I have similar issue to my Z5 which I bought for less than a year. The phone died suddenly without any notice. Holding power button for 10 secs wont do it. Holding power button + vol up/ vol down doesn't do it either. I tried to press the reset button near the SIM card location and it doesn't do it. Does anyone experience the same thing? When I charge it to a wall socket there is no light. All I did was let it charge and wait for a long time ( maybe more than 5 hours) and try it again by holding the power button and suddenly works. The problem is repetitive and already happened to me more than 5 times. Anyone has a solution? My phone does have a warranty but it requires me to send it to Taiwan and I live in US. I dont want to deal with it unless it is very necessary.

Holding volume and on button togther for 8 seconds worked, the battery had completely drained, plugged into wall power point, not USB port.  Battery is charging now, and can turn phone on, thanks!

hiy auliwooly, freat stuff, was trying to hold volume button and on/off switch, but forgot to hold about 8 seconds...

once again thank you... you saved a great deal of pain and agony for a 40 something
