I have a question about wi-fi on Z5C. Most of the time i have wi-fi disabled. In 2 days wi-fi is enabled maybe 4 hours, not more.
But graph shows, that wi-fi is always enabled? Also time counter shows wi-fi running 2 days 11 hours (the same that phone wake-up time from last 100% battery). Is there some bug in graph and counter or the wi-fi is realy always enabled in background, even when i disable it?

Solved! Go to Solution.
Go to advanced settings in wifi, keep wifi on during sleep should be set to never or only when charging and scanning always available should be set to off.
This is stock Android behavior. It's not a Sony bug or something.
You need to disable "WiFi" and "Scanning Always Available"at the same time. If WiFi is still on, try a reboot and disable Location (or put it to GPS Only).
Thank you for help and the explanation, it's working.
Also, if you have Locations turned on, these sneakily use the Wifi networks around to ping locations...
Everything seems switched off for me too but my wifi keeps switching on at night which then wakes me up with notifications pinging through. Only just started recently, possibly after a software update and driving me crazy as it's also draining my battery.
Anyone been able to fic this yet?
